JROTC joins with PDIDA to hang wreaths on High Street
"A season of Jolly" was the theme for Pottstown JROTC students on Saturday, November 23, 2013. Students started the holiday season off by placing wreaths along high street and cleaning the streets of debris. The placing of wreaths on the colonial style light poles is a yearly ritual in Pottstown and signals to the residents and patrons that Christmas is a time of togetherness and support. This year, 40 students participated in the event which began at 8 am and finished at 12 noon.
